Here we were.
Where are we today? I guess "full circle" would be a good term. Although, I'm certainly dealing with things much better.
Last year, Aidan was 2 1/2 months old. This year, Aidan is 14 1/2 months old. He's going on an hour and a half of his nap right now.
Yes..... Last year, Olivia was 24 1/2 months old. This year, she's 36 1/2 months old. She's been sleeping for 30 minutes. And it took her an hour to fall asleep. And this is her first nap in a week, but it's church night and she HAS to. Most days only consist of quiet time, but you know what? I'll take what I can get!!
Who wouldn't want their kids to nap everyday?? But I've conceded to the fact that she's on the fast track off of her naps and quiet time most days is a blessing. There's a little part of me that can't let go in hopes that the warm weather and many hours outside will bring naps on again in full force..but here's to hoping!! She's sleeping great at night (always has) and so I can't complain.
I am so thrilled that spring has sprung here and almost can't wait for the kids to wake up so we can get back outside!!

What cuties! I really cannot get over how much Olivia has grown up in her looks!
Sounds like you've got a good outlook and attitude, Mama.....and hey, that is half the battle most of the time for me!
I have definitely seen an increase in Ella's asleep time this week as we have been outside most of the day. I bet Olivia will sleep during the day if you chase her in the yard all morning!
One can only hope Molly...
