It's been a crazy morning...

It's never a good start when your nearly 2 year old starts the morning with a tantrum.
It's also never a good start when prior to that you hardly got any sleep because your newborn was way too grunty during the night.

I've made my decision and change starts now. Aidan is sleeping in his crib, in his room, tonight. We transitioned Olivia at one month and I think Aidan is following on the same track. I just can't sleep well when I have them in the same room with me. My kids are way too noisy of sleepers.

I also think that Aidan is having gas at night. He isn't awake, but he fusses, fusses, fusses. You mom's know the "gas" cry--shrill and sudden and then it's gone. I'm not sure what else to do for him at night, because the only thing that helps is me holding him. Not going to happen all night. :) Anything work for you? Olivia was such a good sleeper from the start, we never had night problems with her!!

Funnies from Olivia:
As we were pulling in the parking lot to visit my mom at work:
Olivia says: Mom, I poopied.
Me: You did?
Olivia: No.
Me: Did you go poopie?
Olivia: I said No.

Hmmm...

Playing while taking a bath:
Olivia: This is the swimming pool, this is the beach.
Me: That is the beach?
Olivia: Exactly.

Hee hee...

Olivia is so cute! Exactly. So how is her footsie?

Sorry to hear about little Aidan man. Sofie was a bit like that. You will not like the solution that we came up with (because I didn't like it, either!). Tummy. We kept her in our room on her tummy so that I could check on her a lot. At first it worked just to put her to sleep on her tummy and then flip her once she was asleep. Then it was tummy all the way. It stressed me out so much! (And I never confessed to her doctor!) Once she could roll over, I felt SOOO much better.

I hope you can find a solution that works for Aidan and you're comfortable with.
