Weight: 20.5 lbs. (0.12 percentile)
Height: 31 3/4" (2.58 percentile)
Head Circ: 18 1/4" (5.5 percentile) I had to put this, just because it's the highest percentile! :)

At two years old...

Aidan loves to play with his big sister... it doesn't matter what they are playing (trucks or princesses) as long as he's with Olivia.

His favorite foods are waffles, yogurt, and string cheese.

His favorite snacks include anything with refined sugar. :)

His favorite toys are his "Queen Cars" (Lightning McQueen), particularly Mack and Mater.

His favorite books are Goodnight Moon, Little Blue Truck, and Panda Bear, Panda Bear.

He loves snuggling before bed, while I sing "Nigh-Nigh Booga" (our made-up bedtime song).

He talks up a storm, and can speak up to 8 word sentences.

He (like his future girlfriend Lola), identifies purple and pink correctly all the time, everything else is blue.

He can identify the letter M and make it's sound (mmmmmmm).

He can count to 10.

He loves ECFE, especially singing songs.

He seriously loves his Grammi and his Mucka. :)

Aidan, you are such a sweet little boy and we are so blessed to have you!

Aidanism

Whilst driving to town... (whilst is a word, isn't it?)

Aidan: Mom? Do farmers wear ant-el-ers?
Me: (Opening my mouth to respond)
Aidan: Noooo.... bucks wear ant-el-ers!

It's one of those days... I just feel inadequate in my magical Mommy abilities. I don't feed my kids enough fruits and vegetables...and they get too much sugar. They watch more TV in the winter months. Does Olivia go to the right preschool? Why don't I sit and write with her more so she was proficient in writing her name? What can I do differently to help them grow to be smart, successful, and happy?

Why am I on the computer and not playing with them?

Is it really all up to me? (And, of course, by me, I mean us...my hubby counts in all this too, it's just one of those days feeling crummy about me...)

I'll feel better soon... just needed to vent my feelings today. Maybe it also has to do with January in Minnesota, the sickness of snow, and the lack of sunshine...
