Once again it's been too long since I've updated! :)
I made a swift decision 2 weeks and 1 day ago. This potty training business has got to go...not stop it, but get in gear. I had put her in pull-ups for a couple of months, initially thinking that would a) be a motivator and b) be what you were supposed to do! In retrospect, I hate pull-ups and I won't use them with Aidan (except for sleeping). I had been getting so frustrated because even though Olivia was using the potty more, she was still peeing in her pull-ups all the time. After a great discussion at ECFE, I just decided no more pull-ups: panties only.
And you know what? I wish I would have done it 2 months ago! She's done soo awesome! Most days are 0-1 accident, and if there's more accidents it's usually because of the neglect of the adults! Pooping is another thing... any tips on getting this going???

Yay!!! I didn't bother with Pull-Up's either, except at night. We never had poop issues, sorry I can't help. Still, sounds like excellent progress!
Glad things got under control, and it's nice to learn along the way so you can be more prepared second time around =) As for poop, well maybe an extra special something each time she poops on the potty, sorry that's all I got.
OH did we have poop issues. I could never get Peanut to poop in the potty. She would wait ALL day until nap (when I put a diaper on her, and then poop). So I thought I'd outsmart her and make her nap in underwear. That accomplished 2 things, 1) I realized she didn't need a diaper at nap, she never had an accident and 2) now she just waited until bedtime to poop.
For a while we got her to poop in the potty by getting a prize for every poop. (They were good prizes too, because I was desperate!). But after a while she started waiting for her diaper again. So then she started getting a spanking when she pooped in the diaper. That worked for quite a while. Then she just didn't care anymore and went back to pooping in the diaper. So then I gave up, ignored the pooping and ya know what? It fixed itself. No sooner did I ignore it, than she started pooping in the potty on her own. Now she's totally potty trained and I wish I gave up a while ago. Don't know if this help at all, just know that it WILL get better.
YAY!!!!
pottylicious indeed. Way to go team O!
Way to go for it! We did it in swift time each time...and so far it's worked well!
We never have had #2 issues, so I can't help you there. But keep just acting as if she is fully trained and I feel like they WANT to step up to the plate!
Have you tried night time without? We have never used pull-ups...we go cold turkey from day one...no diapers day OR night! It has made extra work for me for a couple of weeks (night time accidents!), but once done...IT IS DONE!
