Please tell me that Olivia's no-napping strike is just a phase. I know we got through it once before, but during that phase she eventually did fall asleep EVERY DAY. Yea, not so much this time. Do your kids go through phases where they refuse naps and then start to nap again? She's so exhausted, and just not ready (and I'm not ready) to be done.
Please, please tell me it's just a phase...

It's just a phase.
Or as most of the moms told me in ECFE when Annika was 2 1/2: "Oh, yeah, all of my kids were done with naps by 2." I wanted to slap all of those moms. Instead, I just became more determined to make sure that Annika's naptime battle/refusal was only a phase. It was, but it has been a phase that we have repeated a few times since!
maybe she doesn't want to nap every day, but instead every other?? My 3 year old does that
I know its not quite as good news as "its just a phase" =) but, its better than thinking she might be totally done! =)
Jonathan lately has been trying to fight his naps, but he so needs it, and he does eventually sleep. I think he just want Gabe to nap too, and he hasn't been napping every day, about every other or when I feel he needs one.
If mine don't nap, at dinner they start to head bob =) Especially Gabe. Good luck, I hope this is a phase.
I also think this is just a phase. I mean, do we ever really grow out of the afternoon nap? I know that every time 2 PM rolls around, I get sleepy.
JUST A PHASE! You know Oran still naps -- I think its really really normal for kids to go on the "no nap strike," but if you continue, they'll relapse! Don't let her give it up!
