What the heck do I do? Please tell me your tips and advice for potty training this sweet little girl whose not so sweet little diapers I am ready to be D.O.N.E. changing!! My goal is to start working with her starting May 1. (Just because I needed to pick a day...) She'll be almost 26 months old then.

Good luck! I hope it goes well so that it inspires me to start with Sofie in a few months. At this point, I'm planning on holding off until she's closer to three. It felt like I was potty training Annika for two years and I am not interested in doing that again! :P
Be sure to post your methods so I can see where I went wrong! ;)
Well...if you are ready then by all means. However, if O decides she is not..it won't go! So...give it a try...and my tip would be: If she is not interested...STOP! But if she is go full tilt!
I would say wait until she is SO ready taht you hardly even have to ask her or remind her b.c she is telling you so much on her own.
Otherwise, its ALOT OF WORK!!
I did this with Ella and Tate and it was hardly any work at all (when I would try before they were ready b.c I just thought maybe it was time...it was SO much work. so frustrating for both of us)
sorry...thats all I got =)
I have potty trained my two eldest, and I agree with everyone else. Wait until she is showing you she is interested, or you both will shed LOTS of tears, trust me. My daughter trained at two and a half, I know that most girls are ready then.
I also suggest waiting until it is warm enough for her to run around outside with a bare bottom. Have a little potty chair handy. This way she can wet herself, feel wet(important), and you don't have to peel wet undies off her (BONUS!!). My daughter got the idea of it in one afternoon outside.
Good Luck E.H. !!!!
Ha ha...just posted pretty much the same thing and then read your blog:) It took me forever with James! Drove me crazy but I wasn't very consistent with him. But I decided to make the commitment today with Quinton. No turning back!
