Apparent schedule change?

So I think Olivia is transitioning to naptime a little later in the day--more like noon than 11 now. Fine, but now that we are doing that, she seems to be having a harder time falling asleep at bedtime (between 7:30-8)...which wouldn't be a problem, except that she doesn't sleep any longer in the morning...(usually 6, today 5:45...after 2 weeks of improved waking time, one week averaging 7:15(!!!)...I didn't blog about it b/c I didn't want to jinx myself...now I figure I'm screwed anyway...)

Did any of you have similar transitions? Did you shorten/wake up from naps to help with the problem? (I've thought of this, but Olivia is usually a CRAB for the rest of the day if she's woke up...) What do you think?

For the last three years I have been trying to get into a regular schedule, only to find it changed a month or two into it. Rascal kids; why don't they just make up their minds and stick with it?

You wouldn't think that an hour would make much of a differnce huh? I remember when Gabe was that age, he would nap for like 3-4hours, and still go down at night around 8-8:30. He then would sleep until 7 or so. I hope she figures out this sleep thing before baby 2.

1. never wake a sleeping child =)

2. can you just leave her in her room in the morning? Seriously...that is waht I do when I am not ready to get them up! =) Tucker started waking up around 5:30 and I just left him and he eventually fell back to sleep ....seriously

Well, I'd love to leave her in her room...but I'd rather not listen to the crying... :) When she's up, she's up!

I agree though...I DESPISE waking a sleeping child!
