More food, please!

I am totally stuck in a rut with feeding Olivia! What are some of your kids/toddler's favorite foods? (Don't forget she doesn't like mac and cheese) I'm not looking for anything magical and super creative, just different than the usual deli meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, waffles, etc. My friend Marci gave me the idea today of a bagel with a little cream cheese and slice of turkey on it. A great idea...and simple too! I just need something new!
Thanks!!

I hear ya. We are stuck too. I really don't have any great ideas either. AH.
Coulter loves pickles, olives -black & green- and strawberries. That would be his diet if he were in charge. We are pretty much ala carte still. Ugh.

So, my son is a super picky eater. And he also can go day to day with things he likes. The day before he really liked applesauce and then next day he makes a face!

So, here are things he normally will "choke" down:

Yogurt (especially banana flavored)
cottage cheese
mandarin oranges (canned)
peaches (canned)
PB sandwich (he's been eating PB since he was 1 year I know...)
american cheese slices
french fries

And when he is having a bad couple of days with eating, I supplement a meal with an instant breakfast packet mixed in milk. My doctor said it is about the same as buying the expensive "children's" what is it Pediasure?Nutritional drinks.

So, hope that helps!

My little girl turns one today!!

Thanks guys--Olivia does really well eating what we eat for dinner (for the most part anyway!) but I just feel like for bkfst and lunch she just gets the same old. Thanks for those ideas!!!

what about sloppy joe's, tuna fish salad, egg salad, chicken/broccoli/cheese casserole, quesadillas (with veggies or meat stashed inside), avocado slices (my kids LOVE 'em) or homemade guacamole with tomatoes, etc. BLT's (just cut up into small squares), homemade nachos (I sneak in all kinds of veggies this way). just email me if you want recipes. good luck.
